These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bestsupplements4u.com (the “Site”), operated by Douwesinstallatiebedrijf 80220576, based in the Netherlands (“we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

We’ve kept these short and plain. The headings are clickable shortcuts to each section.

1. What the Site is

bestsupplements4u is an independent comparison website covering fitness and health supplements (whey protein, creatine, pre-workouts, magnesium, melatonin, vitamins, and similar products). We write reviews, comparisons, and guides, and we link to retailers who sell the products we discuss. Some links are affiliate links — see the Affiliate Disclosure.

We do not sell supplements directly. When you click a product link, you are sent to a third-party retailer who is responsible for their own checkout, shipping, returns, and customer service.

2. Health information is not medical advice

The Site contains information about supplements, dosages, and ingredients. This information is for general educational purposes only and is not medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Read the Health Disclaimer for the full version, which covers among other things:

Specific risks for pregnant or breastfeeding people, minors, and people with kidney, liver, heart, or thyroid conditions.
Interaction warnings for prescription medications.
Stimulants, hormonal compounds, and high-dose vitamins.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site, sign up for our newsletter, or rely on any of our content for purchasing decisions. Many of the products we cover are not appropriate for minors.

4. Your responsibilities

When using the Site, you agree to:

Use it only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
Not scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions of our content without permission.
Not attempt to break, probe, or overload the Site (no DDoS, no exploit hunting, no credential stuffing).
Not impersonate us or pretend our content is yours.
Not post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or misleading content if we ever open a comment or review form.

Reasonable, fair-use quotation with attribution and a link back is fine.

5. Our content and intellectual property

We choose which products to cover, and what to say about them, based on our editorial judgement — not on commission rates. A higher payout never buys a better review.

7. Third-party sites

We link to retailers, brands, manufacturers, research papers, and other third-party sites. Once you leave bestsupplements4u, you’re on someone else’s territory. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, prices, stock, shipping, returns, terms, or privacy practices. Read their terms before buying.

Prices, discount codes, and availability shown on our Site can change at any time and may be out of date by the time you click. The retailer’s checkout page is the authoritative source.

8. Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We send marketing and editorial emails only — no spam, no list rentals. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your email address.

9. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent allowed by Dutch law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement.

A specific supplement is safe or effective for you.

The Site will be available without interruption or free of bugs.

You use the Site at your own risk and use any supplement at your own risk after consulting a qualified professional.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Dutch law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms is limited to €100 (one hundred euros). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if we were warned the loss was possible.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law (for example, intent or gross negligence, or harm to consumers’ statutory rights).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Your continued use of the Site after the change means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands — except where consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings in your home court, in which case those laws apply.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
